Synopsis:
Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon is sent to Los Angeles on what should have been a quick evidence-gathering mission. Instead, he finds himself searching for a killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, Sergeant Jim Baxter, impressed by Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially enlists his help. But as they hunt for the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation brings up echoes of Deke’s past, revealing troubling secrets that could threaten more than his case.
